Capacitive touch detailed introduction

CTP Technology

Capacitive smart board adopts touch screen (CTP) technology. Its high-efficiency and low-power inductive touch mode is widely used in most touch fields. Capacitive touch has high-precision touch sensing and is more comfortable to use.

how to work

Capacitive smart board is equipped with a capacitive sensing device, which can make writing smoother. At the same time, it can sense and detect the current of the human body during work, so as to make writing recognition more accurate.

Capacitive smart board composition

The capacitive smart board is composed of a protective layer, a conductive layer, a non-conductive glass screen and tempered glass. The inner layer is an ITO layer. The typical thickness of ITO is 50-100nm, and its square resistance is about 100-300 ohms. It is composed of four layers of composite screen. There are narrow electrodes on the four sides of the smart board to form a low-voltage AC electric field. When a person’s finger touches the metal layer, the controller calculates the proportion and strength of the current to determine the location of the touch point, which is more accurate than infrared recognition.

Advantages of capacitive touch screens

  • Multi-touch
  • Long service life
  • Higher recognition accuracy
  • High anti-mistouch and durability
  • Anti-fouling, moisture-proof, and wear-resistant

shortcoming

  • High production cost
  • Troublesome maintenance
  • Vulnerable to environmental influences

Application areas

Capacitive touch is widely used in mobile phones, tablet computers, education and office equipment, industrial fields, etc. In the fields of education and office, capacitive touch screens are used in interactive whiteboards, touch displays and other equipment, which can greatly improve interactivity and collaboration efficiency.

The HUSHIDA D3 capacitive smart board uses advanced capacitive touch technology, which can respond quickly and has accurate touch recognition technology. It can be used for people who need fine operations, such as drawing, design and other fields.
